Community Sustainability Grants from HUD
Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) were announced today. Planning for access to fresh food is a part of these grants, so there may be a good opportunity to partner with your regional planning commission if they are a grant awardee. If you have further questions about this program, you can contact the HUD Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships at (202) 708-2404.
"To create sustainable communities, equity and health organizations must drive planning and investments in housing, health, environment, transportation, and other infrastructure needs.
The $100 million HUD-DOT-EPA Sustainable Communities Regional Planning grants and the $75 million HUD-DOT Challenge grants are an important new opportunity to make this happen."

Up to 10,000 subscribers pay 30 pounds apiece for the right to get to make major decisions about the farm. I found this here: Online Wimpole farm creates real-life Farmville
