Potential Goals and Outcomes
Through the vehicle of urban farming, the Green and Growing Initiative will provide youth and their community with:
- Opportunities for meaningful and effective civic involvement by juvenile offenders programs
- Community building skills to reinforce crime prevention
- Financial and economic literacy training
- Microenterprise and job development training
- Nutrition and wellness education
- Access fo healthy food
