The Countryside Conservancy, in collaboration with Western Reserve RC&D, The Ohio Department of Agriculture, and Western Reserve Land Conservancy, is offering an evening of land protection resources and networking opportunities.

When: February 11, 2009

Where: Hiram College, Kennedy Center Ballroom, 11730 Garfield Road, Hiram, Ohio 44234

What: 6-7 pm : Ag District, Ag Security Areas, Ag Easement Purchase Program, and Wetland Reserve Program

          7-8 pm :Networking, Local refreshments and Q&A

          8-9 pm:CAUV Qualifications and Maintenance, FarmLink

Who: The first hour is intended for current farmland owners, Government Staff responsible for AEPP applications, and those already enrolled in CAUV.  The second hour is a chance to network, ask questions, and enjoy refreshments.  The third hour is intended for future farm owners (any size farm), and those looking for other options when retiring farmland or gaining access to farmland.  Come for part or all of the evening.
