LocalFoodSystems site is on a new server
Greetings,
The localfoodsystems.org site has recently moved to an Ohio State University server. Hopefully, you haven't noticed anything amiss but if you do please let us know by clicking "Report problem with site".
In addition to the move, we're ready to begin adding some new features over the coming weeks. For example, you'll soon be able to identify the area within which your message is relevant. An invitation to a town meeting or question about who in your area has some equipment that you need doesn't need to be sent to subscribers across the country, so you'll be able to designate how far to send the email notices. To make this work, you'll be asked to input your zipcode at some point when you log in (just once).
Other things we've been working on and are about ready to go include a more customized resource page for each group and a number of business planning tools that can help a group develop networks of food system businesses. If you have ideas for enhancements that will help you build local economies around food and agriculture, we're always interested in hearing them.
Kind regards from the project team
