Second Conference on Ecological Landscaping: Enhancing Self-Reliance and Resilience of Cities

The upcoming Second Ecological Landscaping Conference will take place December 1-3, 2009 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1100 Carnegie Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.

The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for scientists, engineers, city planners, natural resource managers, landscapers, urban farmers, public policy experts and others to discuss the complex issues surrounding the design and management of urbanized landscapes.

This conference will focus on integrating principles of ecological science into guidelines for designing and managing urbanized landscapes to enhance self-reliance and resilience of cities and implementing those guidelines through development of practices and policies that can be adopted by homeowners, landscape managers and city governments.
